Sto. Rosario Church in Sagay municipality, built in 1882. The belfry is still in its original structure but the roof was replaced with painted galvanized corrugated sheets. The facade has been facelifted. The doors where replaced with iron bars welded to form the vertical gates. Interior of the church included locally influenced unorthodox design composing of chandeliers covered with local twigs woven together. The original stone column are now welded angle bars connected to the roof supporting beam.

How to get there:

You will not miss it as the town of Sagay is also along Camiguin Island's national highway. Renting a vehicle within Camiguin Island is recommended. You can include this as part of the tour around the island. The Church is in front of the town's local police station. Sagay is basically a sleepy town, there is not much activity compared to Mambajao, Camiguin Island's capital town.
