Lignon Hill is where PHILVOCS monitor Mt. Mayon

Interesting place really Lignon Hill right smack in the middle of Mayon and Legazpi downtown area..the foot of that hill is actually Lezaspi Airport.
With the current situation of Mt. Mayon lots of tourists visit the place specially during dusk to late in the evening to see the molten rocks spewing out of its peak. Philvocs and news agencies have also setup camp at the top, they get into a festive mood on weekends and party on till the early morning :)

Lignon Hill, pronounced as lee-nyon and also spelled as Lig�on, is known to be the best place to view Mt. Mayon because of its elevated position.
