This beach area is rather secluded because the roads going directly to this place is rough, narrow, and often difficult to get through unless you have a high road clearance vehicle. Though going to this place is a challenge in itself for the trekker, access by banca would be the better and easiest option. You actually can arrange to hire a banca through any of the resorts at Laiya, although the boat ride association where all boat hiring is centralized is located at the beach front near Kabayan Resort.
Very near this beach is the Marulas Coral Reef which is teeming with large corals that one can snorkel over.
